Our commitment

We want this store to be usable by everyone, including people who browse with a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, or need larger text and higher contrast. We treat an accessibility defect as a bug, not as a feature request.

Conformance status

This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means most of the standard is met but some content does not yet fully conform.

We say partially rather than fully because no independent audit has been carried out. Claiming full conformance without one would be a claim we cannot evidence, and this brand does not make those.

What we have done

Semantic HTML with real headings, landmarks and lists, so a screen reader can navigate structurally. Every control reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus ring that we have not styled away. Text contrast checked against the AA thresholds. Form fields with real, associated labels rather than placeholder text pretending to be one. Motion kept minimal, and honoured when your system asks for reduced motion.

Known gaps

These are the areas we know are not there yet, as of 2026-08-17:

• The product gallery and the cart drawer have been keyboard-tested by hand but not audited by a third party.
• Some product photography does not yet carry descriptive alt text, because the images are placeholders pending the real shoot.
• We have not tested against every combination of screen reader and browser.

If something does not work for you

Email support@cofactorsupply.com and describe what you were trying to do and what got in the way. The page address helps, and so does the browser and assistive technology you use, but do not let a missing detail stop you writing — we would rather have the report.

We aim to reply within one business day. If a fix will take longer than that, we will tell you what we are doing and when to expect it.

Placing an order another way

If any part of the checkout is not usable for you, email support@cofactorsupply.com and we will take the order directly and send a payment link. You will not pay more for ordering that way.

How we review this

This statement was last reviewed on 2026-08-17. We review it when the storefront changes materially, and we update the gap list as items are fixed rather than letting it go stale.
