Cookie policy
Last updated August 17, 2026
Every cookie this site sets, what it is for, how long it lasts — and the ones we deliberately do not set.
The short version
Until you put something in the cart or sign in, this site sets no cookies at all. There is no analytics cookie, no advertising pixel and no third-party script on any page. The cookies below exist so that a cart can survive a page load, and for nothing else.
What a cookie is
A small file a site asks your browser to keep and send back on the next request. It is the mechanism that lets a website recognise that two page loads came from the same person — which is what a shopping cart fundamentally is.
Strictly necessary cookies
These cannot be switched off, because without them the store does not function. They carry no advertising identifier and are not shared with anyone.
| Cookie | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
woocommerce_cart_hash |
Tells the page whether the cart contents changed, so the drawer and the free-shipping bar can re-render. | Session |
woocommerce_items_in_cart |
Tells the page a cart exists, so cached HTML knows to hydrate the count. | Session |
wp_woocommerce_session_* |
Links your browser to your cart and checkout on the server. Without it a cart cannot survive a page load. | 2 days |
wordpress_logged_in_* |
Keeps you signed in to your account. Only set if you log in. | Session, or 14 days if you choose to stay signed in |
What we deliberately do not use
No analytics — we do not run Google Analytics or any equivalent, so we cannot tell you which pages you personally viewed, because we do not know.
No advertising or retargeting pixels. Nothing follows you off this site.
No social media embeds, no third-party fonts loaded from someone else’s server, no session-recording or heatmap tools.
Why there is no cookie banner
Consent is required for non-essential cookies. We do not set any, so there is nothing to ask you about. A banner that requests permission for nothing is theatre, and it trains people to dismiss the banners that do matter.
If we ever add something that needs consent, we will ask for it properly before it loads — not after.
Controlling cookies in your browser
Every browser lets you see, block and delete cookies, usually under Settings → Privacy. Blocking the strictly necessary cookies above will stop the cart and checkout working — that is a limitation of how carts work, not a penalty we impose.
Changes
If the inventory above changes, this page and its date change with it. It is generated from the store’s own cookie list rather than written by hand, so it cannot quietly fall out of step.
